The title of his lecture is \u2018<strong>Radical Reformation: Religious Fanaticism in 16th-Century Schleswig-Holstein<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, Hoffarth\u2019s illustrated lecture deals with controversies between the moderate and radical wings of the Reformation in northern Germany. The starting point is the aggressive disputes between the Anabaptist Melchior Hoffman and the Lutheran Marquard Schuldorp, which culminated in the so-called Flensburg Disputation in 1529. The fundamental history of the Reformation in Schleswig-Holstein will also be examined.<\/p>\n<p>The lecture will take place at the <strong>Schleswig-Holsteinisches K\u00fcnstlerhaus otte1, Ottestra\u00dfe 1, 24340 Eckernf\u00f6rde<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong>Admission<\/strong>: Non-members \u20ac5.
