She will also provide insight into her current projects and installations on Myanmar and Linz, Austria.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kathrin Rabenort studied fine art at the Kunsthochschule Kassel and Goldsmith College in London. Born in Siegerland, she now lives and works in Cologne after spending time in Amsterdam and London. She developed three-dimensional objects from fabrics and original uniforms, wall works from handkerchiefs and screen prints, large-scale installations and, in the last two years, increasingly sewing machine drawings.<\/p>\n<p>Her catalogue Marine Stories brings her maritime works on her research into the sailors&#8217; revolt and the sailors Reichpietsch and K\u00f6bis to her hometown of Cologne.<\/p>\n<p>Kathrin Rabenort talks about her work, gives a lecture showing new objects and exhibition views, also shows works currently in progress and looks forward to exciting discussions.<\/p>\n<p>Welcome and ahoy!<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Afterwards, we will bid farewell to our scholarship holders for the third quarter: Alexandra Mitlyanskaya, Antje Wagner and Soufian Chemcham.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On Saturday, 27 September 2025, alumna (former scholarship holder) Kathrin Rabenort will speak at 12:30 p.m. in the \u2018After the Market\u2019 series about her material objects, sculptures and wall works, which have their roots in the sea and the navy.
