{"id":25248,"date":"2025-04-03T11:20:41","date_gmt":"2025-04-03T09:20:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.otte1.org\/?p=25248"},"modified":"2025-04-03T11:20:41","modified_gmt":"2025-04-03T09:20:41","slug":"no-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otte1.staging.computerlie.be\/en\/news\/no-future\/","title":{"rendered":"No Future?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>After the market, on Saturday, 5 April at 12:30, we will take a look at what has become of a pair of artists who were our guests in 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the end of their residency 10 years ago, Silvia Amancei and Bogdan Armanu from Romania showed an installation entitled \u2018(NO) HOPE FOR A FUTURE\u2019 on the windows of the K\u00fcnstlerhaus.<\/p>\n<p>The work is based on a manifesto written by the two scholarship holders: \u2018To place no hope in the future is a call to recognise reality, to tear the mask off the promise of future gain, of future fulfilment. There is no future, so there is nothing to lose.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The Schleswig-Holstein K\u00fcnstlerhaus &#8211; otte1 was the pair&#8217;s first scholarship residency.
