The proximity to Kiel, L\u00fcbeck, Hamburg and Flensburg. The prospect of three months of funding and time and space to write in your own flat at the K\u00fcnstlerhaus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What did you work on during your stay?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Everyday notes. A beginning that later led me to a new project. An important decision and cancellation in a completed manuscript.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What inspired you at the K\u00fcnstlerhaus in Eckernf\u00f6rde?<br \/>\n<\/strong>The view of the garden, the access to the garden. Long walks. Bathing in the sea after the sauna. The readings and the audience at the Long Night of Literature.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you take away from Eckernf\u00f6rde for your further artistic development?<br \/>\n<\/strong>That every beginning needs time and space.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What would you like to add?<br \/>\n<\/strong>My thanks to the team at the K\u00fcnstlerhaus: for the uncomplicated communication, the quick response to requests, the freedom, the flexibility.
