“Things in space…” – let’s talk about dance

“Letting things stand and emerge in space” is a central motif that the Austrian dancer Lisa McGuire deals with. During the Marktnachlese this Saturday we talk with her about the variety of interpretations of her dance work.

 As “Duo Little Red Riding Hood”, Lisa McGuire regularly collaborates with the composer and multimedia artist Alisa Kobzar. The basis of their work is characterized by non-verbal communication between dance, music and visualization. The duo was last seen in Eckernförde as part of the Provincial Noise Festival in February 2023.

Lisa McGuire is now once again a guest at the Künstlerhaus Otte1 as part of the Lange Nächte series in November. As a counterpoint to the sound spheres of the Duo Reflexion K (Beatrix Wagner and Gerald Eckert): a “counterpoint” between dance and instrumental expression is created in the evening as part of the wider festival in Eckernförde.
