Evening reading: Hyde
On Friday, 19 September 2025, at 7 p.m., literature scholarship holder Antje Wagner will present her mysterious novel Hyde in an evening reading!
Antje Wagner, born in Wittenberg in 1974, is an author of suspense literature for young adults and adults. Her awards include being listed by the FAZ in the canon of the 20 best authors under 40, the ver.di Literature Prize and the Reading Compass of the Leipzig Book Fair.
She will present her novel ‘Hyde’ at an evening event. This work combines elements of nature thriller, mystery novel and family drama. ‘Hyde’ was awarded the Phantastikpreis/Wetzlar and remained on the Phantastik bestseller list for months. The moving story even prompted the German Bible Society to recommend it as a read.
Let yourself be carried away for ninety minutes into the dark, nature-rich world of this eerie story, which gradually unfolds before your eyes like a jigsaw puzzle and leaves you with a lasting sense of unease.
